PMU SALINE REMOVAL - By ALEX
Complimentary to PMU Laser Removal
Service Description
This treatment uses a sterile saline solution introduced into the skin using a precision PMU device. Through a controlled process called osmosis, the saline draws pigment particles toward the surface, where they are naturally expelled during healing. As the skin forms and releases a light scab, a portion of the pigment is lifted away, gradually fading the unwanted colour over several sessions. Complimentary to laser removal, saline removal is suitable for all pigment colours, including those that lasers may struggle to detect (such as white, yellow, or deeply implanted pigment). It’s a non‑thermal technique, meaning it rely on a chemical reaction in the skin. Each client’s response depends on factors such as pigment depth, skin type, and the age of the PMU. Multiple sessions are usually required for optimal results, with healing intervals between treatments to allow the skin to recover fully. After each session, following the provided aftercare is essential to achieve the best outcome (i.e. maintaining a clean treated area and avoiding interference with scabbing is a MUST!). Saline Removal is an evidence‑based alternative, and it's truly effective when applied in addition to the laser approach. It is performed only after a professional consultation to ensure suitability and safety.
